Puerto Vallarta...With a View

Several things I have enjoyed about our three month stay in Puerto Vallarta, with one of the best simply being our view. Now on our third 'long' term stay, with the others for only four or five weeks. Yet those other locations have not offered near the view and ease to the Malecon as this one. It has surely been a daily panorama. As stated in my most recent blog I've enjoyed watching the 'Frigate Birds' for sure. Yet so much more...watching for whale, dolphins and flying fish and even the occasional stunt plane. One time we had a free 20 minute aerial display. 

Miko is often watching with us. He especially enjoyed the nightly fireworks display from the Pirate ship or many of the hotels around the bay. He has been so funny...sometimes I look to see where he's off to, only to find him once again poking his head through the banister checking out the activity below. Always in an attempt to discover one more 'friend'.

From our patio we can see from the south end of this Bay of Banderas all the way to the north, including Los Arcos, the pole flyers, toward the marina, around to Punta de Mita and finally, but not always Marietas Islands. Yes, these things I, we shall miss as we return to the great Pacific Northwest.
